Posted by u/eaglefeather148 1 day ago You won't let me tell you the food you bought is moldy? Ok, you can just eat it then. м ос This isn't my story but a coworker I have. I work in an airport resteraunt. You can imagine we get a lot of stuck up and bitchy people who don't see us as humans. We work our off to provide the best service we can under the

circumstances (Working in an airport setting with unpredictable passenger numbers). For context, our resteraunt is split into 2 seperate Café's. Mine is the one before TSA, the one relevant to this story happened past TSA. Meaning this was a passenger that either went through TSA or came off a plane from the departure lounge.

cucumbers in their trays even when they hadn't reached to expiration we have for prepared fresh foods, such as the tray in question. I subsequently pulled my trays because they did, in fact, have mold on them. Enter Act II of this story. He came to me about 30 mins later to tell me this part.

Back in Post security(past TSA), a lady had bought a vegetable tray. being the good Assistant Manager he is, he went over to make sure that it was a fresh tray. She didn't let him even get more than one word out before telling him "Go away, leave me alone". Now he isn't a mean person at all. In fact he

makes the most conversation with all the customers more that the rest of our staff, including me. He took one look at the tray she purchased, it was moldy. He made a couple more attempts to try and tell her that her food had mold on it so she could get a fresh one, to no avail. He's now at a loss and just lets whatever happens, happen.

She ate the WHOLE... ... THING!!... Cucumbers and all, with 0 complaints. Just goes to show, when an employee comes up to you, hear out the employee just in case they have something important to tell you. Such as "Ma'am, you are about to consume mold. How about you go choose another tray free of charge?"

No_Cow7804 1 day ago Nothing excuses this Karen, but as someone who travels a lot for work, I can tell you that people are often exhausted, stressed or both, not necessarily stuck up. I would never be deliberately , but there have been times, think, end of a two-three day trip, each day being 16+ hours with colleagues, with the last day including two flights and arriving home at midnight if lucky. Do eight weeks straight of that and it's not always easy to be chirpy with service people or anyone

SirFoxtrot Alpha 1 day ago I'm curious how she was able to get ahold of the tray. I mean, if customers get the trays from accessible shelves then pay at the cashier, shouldn't you have removed the trays from the customer-accessible shelves? 41. 1 ↓ Reply Share GNU_PTerry 20 hr. ago Presumably she bought it before they checked them.

RivenSoloOnly 1 day ago Mold doesn't have a strong taste, it just tastes like something is slightly off with the food. I randomly decided to inspect my food since I regularly have the same thing and it tasted a little different (and I'm a picky eater) that's when I discovered I had been eating mold for like 10 minutes Source: was served moldy food while in the military

I'm imagining long greasy hair, long bangs hanging in a curtain over her eyes, hiding an eternally grouchy face..
